About
Policy is being written now. Students should be in the room.
Artificial intelligence is reshaping national security, civil rights, labor, and science — and the decisions being made in Washington today will govern it for decades. We believe students shouldn't wait until after graduation to engage with that work.

What we do
Three ways in.
Whether you have ten hours a week or two, there's a way to plug in.
The Fellowship
A semester-long cohort program: weekly seminars on AI governance fundamentals, a mentored policy writing project, and presentations to practitioners. [Confirm structure + length.]
Speaker Series
Conversations with the people doing the work — Hill staffers, agency officials, think tank researchers, and industry policy teams. [Add past/planned speakers.]
Policy Sprints
Short, team-based projects responding to real requests for comment, legislative proposals, and emerging debates. [Swap for your actual third program.]
How to join
Applications open for Fall 2026.
[Placeholder — one sentence on who should apply and the deadline, e.g. "Open to all GW undergraduates. Applications close September 12."]
Submit the application
A short form: background, interest in AI policy, and a brief written response. No prior experience required. [Link your form here.]
Meet us
A 20-minute conversation with current members — informal, and as much for you to ask questions as for us.
Join the cohort
Decisions within two weeks. The fellowship kicks off with an opening session and cohort dinner. [Confirm timeline.]
